The Church Gathered
We will assemble together in both large and small settings throughout the week. We welcome anyone and everyone to attend. Our Sunday services are designed to reflect Biblical principles such as prayer, expressing our love for God through music, preaching and teaching the Bible, celebrating communion, and connecting with one another in community. Our small groups exist to connect people in their respective neighborhoods through Christ-centered community (TBA). We are mindful of the fact, that in both our large and small gatherings, there will be those who are unfamiliar with the truths of the Bible and who have not yet met Jesus. Because of this, our desire is to communicate unchanging biblical truth in ways that everyone can comprehend.
The Church Scattered
As followers of Jesus in San Francisco, we are called to scatter throughout our respective communities, and give ourselves sacrificially to the people of the city for the sake of the gospel. As a church we are to point as many people to Jesus as possible through word and deed. Therefore, for every Christian, all vocations and forms of community involvement are a part of ministry. We seek to promote and encourage this kind of missional living among our members though the teaching of the Word of God and through prayer. (Eph. 4:12)

Why Have Prayer Meetings?
Through the act of corporate and private prayer we are submitting ourselves, our opinions, and our ideas to Jesus, the Head of the Church, and asking Him to show us the way we should go and adoring Him in the process.
“The condition of the church may be very accurately gauged by its prayer meetings. So is the prayer meeting a grace-ometer, and from it we may judge the amount of divine working among a people. If God be near a church, it must pray. And if he be not there, one of the first tokens of his absence will be slothfulness in prayer.”
-Charles Spurgeon

What is the prayer tour?
Quite simply, it’s the way are preparing to start Reality San Francisco.
We look forward to the day we live in the city to share the Gospel and our lives with the people of San Francisco (1 Thess. 2:8). However, prior to Reality starting, we will be focusing our efforts on praying.
We believe that going to a city, learning its history and culture, and taking in the sights and sounds, will lead us in greater and deeper prayer. As we walk the streets of San Francisco and learn it’s history, we can pray with:
Researched Insight: Examining the history and culture of the city will fuel our prayers. For this reason, there will be meetings that will consist of both Historical overviewfs of San Francisco and Biblical Teachings by Reality Pastors. The entire team is then broken up into teams who will all rotate going to and praying for many districts within San Francisco. We will also be praying for the existing churches in the city that they would grow, be strengthened, and continue steadfast in the faith. There are many amazing churches in this city and we are privileged to come alongside them in the great work of gospel ministry.
Responsive insight: By observing people in the city we are motivated by Christs love and compassion which will lead us in prayer for them. Also, as we walk and pray with eyes open we become immersed in entire communities in which we ask God to show us the idols of the culture (every city has them). Our prayer is that the gospel will expose and destroy these idols, replacing them with the all-sufficient love of God.
Revealed insight: As we are firmly grounded in the Word of God we believe that His Spirit will make us aware of the needs of the people around us and how to pray for and meet those needs. We will also be trusting God to lead us by His Spirit in our conversations with the people that we meet along the way. These are opportunities that only walking, observing and praying can create.
BELIEF
We Believe the Bible to be the inspired, infallible, authoritative, and the inerrant Word of God. (II Timothy 3:15-17, II Peter 1:21)
We Believe there is one God, eternally existing in three persons: the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. (Genesis 1:1, Deuteronomy 6:4, Matthew 28:19, John 10:30)
We Believe in the deity of Christ (John 10:33); His virgin birth (Isaiah 7:14, Matthew 1:23, Luke 1:34-35); His sinless life (Hebrews 4:15, 7:26); His miracles (John 2:11); His vicarious and atoning death (I Corinthians 15:3, Ephesians 1:7, Hebrews 2:9); His resurrection (John 11:25, I Corinthians 15:4); His ascension to the right hand of the Father (Mark 16:19); His personal return to earth in power and glory. (Acts 1:11, Revelation 19:11-13, Revelation 19:14-16)
We Believe in the absolute necessity of regeneration by the Holy Spirit for salvation because of the exceeding sinfulness of the human nature, and that all are
justified on the single ground of faith in the shed blood of Christ, and that only by God’s grace through faith alone are we saved. (John 3:16-19; John 5:24, Romans 3:23; Romans 5:8-9, Ephesians 2:8-10, Titus 3:5)
We Believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost; those who are saved unto the resurrection of life, and those who are not unto the resurrection of damnation. (John 5:28-29)
We Believe in the spiritual unity of the believers in our Lord Jesus Christ. (Romans 8:9, I Corinthians 12:12-13, Galatians 3:26-28)
We Believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit by Whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a godly life. (Romans 8:13-14, I Corinthians 3:16; I Corinthians 6:19-20, Ephesians 4:30; Ephesians 5:18)
We Believe that we as Christians are examples of the love of God in this world. It is this (agape) love that we desire to possess and without which we have no right to call ourselves Christians. (I John 4:16-17)
